- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are tender.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and thyme, stirring well.
- Return meatballs to the skillet and cook in the sauce for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, consider using fresh herbs and adjusting the richness with more cream.
