Delicious chicken meatballs in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are tender.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and thyme, stirring well.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and cook in the sauce for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
