Instructions

  1. Prepare the angel cake mix according to the package instructions, adding in one cup of sugar and two tablespoons of cinnamon.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  3. Carefully drop small dollops of the batter into the hot oil, frying each churro bite until golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the churro bites from the oil with a slotted spoon and lay them onto a plate lined with paper towels.
  5. Dust each churro bite with cinnamon sugar immediately after removing from the oil. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or serve on the side for dipping.
