- 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 4 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 lime wedges
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if you want to warm the tostada shells.
- Shred the rotisserie chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Arrange the tostada shells on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the shells from the oven and layer shredded chicken on top of each shell.
- Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese over the chicken.
- Top with slices of avocado and a dollop of sour cream.
- Drizzle with hot sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
Consider letting guests personalize their tostadas with hot sauce and extra lime juice.
