Description

Delightful crispy egg rolls filled with a luxurious blend of lobster, shrimp, and crab, accompanied by a flavorful remoulade sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 910 egg roll wrappers
  • 12 lobster tails, deveined and shelled
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, deveined and shelled
  • 8 oz jumbo lump crab
  • 4 oz crab meat
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (for remoulade sauce)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp parsley, freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp chives, freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water or milk
  • Canola oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the seafood filling by combining the lobster tails, shrimp, jumbo lump crab, and crab meat in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the diced red onion, bell peppers, green onion, and parsley. Season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
  2. Make the remoulade sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, additional mayo, parsley, chives, Dijon mustard, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, lemon juice, Old Bay, and paprika in a separate bowl. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together the egg and water (or milk) in a small bowl for the egg wash.
  4. Assemble the egg rolls by placing a wrapper on a clean surface, spooning a generous amount of the seafood filling onto it, and sealing with the egg wash.
  5. Fry the rolls in heated canola oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Drain the fried rolls on paper towels and serve them with the remoulade sauce.

Notes

Keep egg roll wrappers covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out. You can freeze leftover egg rolls for later use.
