Description

A warm and inviting croissant bake filled with buttery croissant pieces, deli meats, and melted cheese, perfect for brunch or family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 68 croissants, cut into halves or thirds
  • 1012 slices of deli meats (ham, prosciutto, turkey breast, or salami)
  • 34 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme)
  • 810 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut your croissants into thirds.
  3. Whisk together the heavy cream or milk, eggs, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary in a large bowl.
  4. Dunk each croissant piece into the milk mixture, shaking off excess liquid.
  5. Arrange the croissant pieces in a single layer in a baking dish.
  6. Layer the deli meats over the croissant pieces, followed by the Swiss cheese slices and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
  7. Mix together the butter, honey, and remaining fresh herbs in a small bowl.
  8. Drizzle the honey butter mixture evenly over the top of the bake.
  9. Bake until the cheese melts and the croissants are golden and bubbly.

Notes

Using day-old croissants can enhance texture. Feel free to experiment with various deli meats and cheeses.
