Deliciously simple cookies made with just three ingredients: salted butter, brown sugar, and all-purpose flour.

- ½ cup salted butter (softened to room temperature, 1 stick)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the softened salted butter and brown sugar together with a large spoon until creamy and soft.
- Add the flour and mix again until there are no dry pockets of flour.
- Press the cookie dough into balls about 2 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced at least 2 inches apart.
- Gently press the tops of the cookies down with your hand to flatten them slightly.
- Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden around the edges.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before enjoying.
Notes
Consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking to enhance texture and flavor.
