  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the butternut squash, ensuring even pieces for uniform cooking.
  2. Cook the squash by either boiling until tender or roasting it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 400°F.
  3. Blend the cooked squash with the vegetable broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a casserole dish with a bit of olive oil.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into the prepared dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. Drizzle with olive oil.
