- Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the cubed butternut squash with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and herbs (if using) in a large bowl.
- Spread the squash on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for about 25 minutes, or until tender.
- Cook the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.
- Combine the roasted squash with the cooked ground turkey and mix well.
- Serve warm, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Consider adding cayenne pepper for heat or maple syrup for sweetness. Check doneness by pricking the squash with a fork.
