Ingredients

- – 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (60 g)

- – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
- – 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (2.5 ml)
- – 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
- – 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- – 1/4 cup tomato sauce (60 ml)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350°F and coat a nonstick muffin tin with a nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the tomato sauce, using clean hands or a spoon to ensure they are well combined.
- Distribute the mixture evenly among the muffin tin cups, placing about 1/4 cup into each and pressing down lightly.
- Spread a layer of tomato sauce on top of each portion.
- Place in the oven and cook for 20-24 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reaches 160°F.
- Allow the mini meatloaves to rest for 2 minutes in the tin, then use a knife if necessary to help move them to a serving plate. Enjoy them warm.
