Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 quart chocolate or vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  4. Let the brownie cool completely in the pan.
  5. Once cooled, carefully remove the brownie from the pan and slice it into two layers horizontally.
  6. Place one layer of brownie on a serving plate, spread half of the ice cream over it, and drizzle with half of the hot fudge sauce.
  7. Place the second brownie layer on top, followed by the remaining ice cream and hot fudge.
  8. Freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.
  9. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.

Notes

Allow the brownies to cool completely to prevent crumbling during assembly. Experiment with different ice cream flavors for personalization.
