Description

Delicious Greek turkey meatballs paired with a refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for easy weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for searing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat; form into meatballs slightly larger than a golf ball.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes

For added flavor, consider searing the meatballs in a skillet before baking. Adjust seasoning to taste before forming meatballs.
