- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cut the biscuit dough into pieces and place on top of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a perfectly browned top, consider using the broiler for the last few minutes of baking.
