Description
A comforting blend of creamy and cheesy goodness with robust ham and crispy bacon in a hearty potato bake.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 2 lb bag frozen diced potatoes, thawed
- 1 16 oz container sour cream
- 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
- 4 Tbs butter (melted)
- Salt and pepper (to your preference)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1/3 cup green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spray a 9″x13″ baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and minced onion in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the thawed frozen diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, crumbled bacon, and green onions. Toss everything to ensure each piece gets coated in the mixture.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake uncovered in the oven for about 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle any remaining cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and become golden.
Notes
Feel free to swap diced ham for other proteins like shredded chicken or turkey. For an added kick, consider diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
