Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate cake according to the box instructions and let it cool completely.
- Slice the cooled cake in half horizontally.
- Place one half in a round cake pan.
- Soften the ice cream slightly and spread it evenly over the cake layer.
- Place the second half of the cake on top of the ice cream.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with whipped topping.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and add sprinkles if desired.
- Freeze the cake for at least 2-4 hours before serving.
