  • 5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) ranch dressing
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) juice from jalapeno jar
  • 5 tsp (8 ml) smoked paprika
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • 8 oz (227 g) shredded cheddar

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken thighs into two pieces and remove any extra fat.
  2. Apply your chosen BBQ rub to the chicken and cook it using your preferred method until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, then set aside.
  3. If desired, lightly toast the slider buns for added texture.
  4. Place half of the shredded cheddar on the bottom halves of the slider buns, followed by placing a chicken thigh on each roll.
  5. In a bowl, combine the chopped jalapenos, ranch dressing, jalapeno juice, and smoked paprika, stirring until the mixture is well blended.
  6. Drizzle the ranch mixture over each piece of chicken.
  7. Top with the remaining cheddar before adding the top halves of the slider buns.
  8. Wrap the sliders in foil and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is thoroughly melted.
