Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.33 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 gallon chocolate ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, eggs, and vegetable oil in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and bake for 26 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. Slice the chocolate ice cream block in half lengthwise.
  7. Position the two ice cream slabs side by side on waxed paper with the cooled cake on top.
  8. Smooth the seams and carefully flip the cake using a board or serving platter.
  9. Cover the top with waxed paper and freeze until firm.
