A creamy, spicy, and cheesy casserole that combines all the flavors of jalapeño poppers into a comforting dish perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup jalapeños, diced (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, diced jalapeños, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  4. Layer the chicken mixture over the chips, then top with the remaining tortilla chips.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
