- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls)
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased baking dish.
- Slice the slider buns horizontally, placing the bottom halves in the baking dish.
- Mix the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
- Layer the cheese slices over the chicken.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
- Brush the melted butter mixed with parsley and poppy seeds (if using) over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
