Description

Indulgent lobster and crab butter bombs encapsulated in a crispy coating, bursting with coastal flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and cream cheese. Use an electric mixer or spatula to blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the chopped lobster meat, shredded crab meat, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the butter and cream cheese mixture. Stir gently to combine without breaking up the seafood too much.
  4. Mix in the chopped parsley, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.
  5. Scoop the mixture using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, and form into small balls or bombs. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Once all mixture is shaped into balls, roll each butter bomb in the breadcrumbs, coating them fully, and place them back on the baking sheet.
  7. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of each butter bomb to help them crisp during baking.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For optimal flavor, use high-quality seafood and consider chilling the mixture for 30 minutes before shaping. Serve warm for the best taste.
