- 150 grams (¾ cup) sugar

- 180 grams (¾ cup) butter

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan with butter and line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together 80 grams of butter and 150 grams of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the four large eggs one at a time, mixing until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together 150 grams of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Gradually add this to the butter and egg mixture, alternating with the 100 ml of milk and 100 ml of water. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the cream filling by whisking together 500 ml of milk, 150 grams of sugar, 100 grams of flour, and two large eggs until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- After the cake cools, slice it horizontally to create layers, spread the cream filling between each layer, and stack them.
- Dust the top with icing sugar or garnish of your choice. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Sift flour for a lighter texture. Rotate the pan halfway through baking for even results.
