- 2 sandwich rolls
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for toasting
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Season with salt, pepper, and salsa, mixing well.
- Divide the beef mixture among the sandwich rolls and top with shredded cheese.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich rolls and toast them in a pan until crispy and golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Adjust seasoning to your taste. For a spicier kick, consider adding chili powder or diced jalapeños.
