- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Drain excess fat and stir in mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Roll out pie crust and cut into rounds to fit your muffin tin cups.
- Place the rounds in the muffin tin and fill with meat mixture.
- Cover with another round of crust, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
