Description

Savory muffin tin meat pies filled with seasoned beef and mixed vegetables, wrapped in a flaky crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Roll out pie crust and cut into rounds to fit your muffin tin cups.
  5. Place the rounds in the muffin tin and fill with meat mixture.
  6. Cover with another round of crust, sealing the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Experiment with different herbs or spices in the filling to customize the flavor. Ensure your muffin tin is well-greased to prevent sticking.
