- 1 package gnocchi
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
