- 1 ½ teaspoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco®, or to taste
- 1 sleeve buttery crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the shredded Cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, slivered almonds, crumbled bacon, and hot sauce. Stir until mixed.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Mix the crushed crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Spread the cracker mixture evenly across the chicken layer.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
