Create a delightful Nutella Puff Pastry Star Wreath, a nostalgic treat that combines flaky pastry and rich Nutella, perfect for gatherings.

- 2 rolls of puff pastry
- 6 tablespoons of Nutella
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of icing sugar
Instructions
- Unroll one piece of puff pastry and spread the Nutella on top of it.
- Unroll the second piece of puff pastry and place this on top, pressing down everything together.
- Use a medium-sized star cookie cutter to cut out the star shapes from the layered pastry.
- Draw around the edge of a large dinner plate on a piece of parchment paper to create a circle.
- Arrange the stars on the parchment paper, following the circle shape and overlapping slightly.
- Whisk the egg and brush it onto the top of the pastry stars.
- Transfer the parchment paper with the stars to a baking tray.
- Bake in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm on the parchment or transfer to a plate.
- Dust with icing sugar for a finishing touch.
Notes
Chilling puff pastry before use helps achieve better flake when baked. Use generous amounts of Nutella for a gooey experience.
