Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Press half the meat mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan.
- Layer 4 slices of provolone over the meat, then add the sautéed peppers and onions.

Notes
Letting the meatloaf rest after baking is crucial for juicy slices. Use high-quality ground beef for best flavor.
