- 3 black tea bags (710 ml)
- 4 cups boiling water (946 ml)
- 3 large peaches, ripe
- 2 cups water (473 ml)
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (80 g) – use 1/2 cup for a sweeter tea
Instructions
- Heat up 4 cups of water until it reaches a gentle simmer on the stove or using an electric kettle.
- Once heated, take it off the heat and immerse the tea bags completely, allowing them to infuse for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags carefully, and let the tea cool before placing it in the fridge to chill.
- In a blender, combine 1 cup of water, the sugar, and the diced peaches. Blend briefly for 2-3 seconds, just enough to break them down, then transfer the mixture into a pot. Add the remaining 1 cup of water and heat over medium heat on the stove.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat to let it simmer for 5 minutes. Take off the heat and allow it to steep for an additional 30 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine sieve into a large pitcher or jar, pressing down on the peach mixture to extract all the juice. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Mix the chilled black tea and peach syrup in a large pitcher. Stir well to combine, then add ice. Finish by garnishing with peach slices and serve.

- For a more intense peach flavor, try adding an additional peach or extending the steeping time of the peach syrup.
