Description

Learn how to make delicious roasted Brussels sprouts with this easy recipe. Perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection, a must-try side dish!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 pounds (680 g) Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Collect all the necessary items. Set your oven to a temperature of 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
  2. Put the prepared Brussels sprouts, vegetable oil, kosher salt, and black pepper into a large resealable plastic bag. Close it tightly and shake well to ensure everything is coated.
  3. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and position it on the middle rack of the oven.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, making sure to shake the pan every 5 to 7 minutes to achieve even browning. Lower the temperature if needed to avoid burning. The Brussels sprouts should be a very dark brown, nearly black when finished. Add more kosher salt if needed.
  5. Serve promptly while hot and enjoy!
