Description

A warm and hearty breakfast featuring fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and gooey cheese wrapped in flaky crescent dough.


Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 sausage links
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese, halved
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the eggs in a small bowl, keeping aside 2 tablespoons for brushing on top of the crescent rolls later. Scramble the remaining eggs in a pan over medium heat until just set. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean work surface and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
  4. Place half a slice of Cheddar cheese on each triangle.
  5. Spoon a small portion of scrambled eggs onto each triangle and add one sausage link.
  6. Starting at the wide end of each triangle, gently roll the dough around the sausage and eggs, tucking in the sides slightly. Place each roll-up on an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of each roll-up with the reserved beaten egg and sprinkle with a bit of salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Enjoy warm or pack them up for a convenient, delicious breakfast on the go!

Notes

For a sweet twist, consider adding cooked bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup before rolling.
