Description

A flavorful seafood boil featuring jumbo shrimp, crab, and andouille sausage, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp
  • 1 pound crab
  • 1 pound andouille sausage
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 ears of corn on the cob
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun spices
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Aromatics (onion, garlic, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and add Cajun spices and aromatics. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they are starting to get tender.
  3. Add corn, andouille sausage, and crab. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp and eggs, cooking for an additional 2–3 minutes until shrimp are pink and eggs are cooked.
  5. Drain the pot and transfer the seafood and vegetables to a serving dish.
  6. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic to create the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the seafood boil and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, personalize your Cajun spice mix. Serve with crusty bread or a side salad.
