Description

A beautifully seared steak enhanced with garlic herb butter, perfect for both casual and celebratory meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Ribeye Steaks
  • 5 tbsp Butter (dairy-free)
  • 3 Whole Garlic Cloves (peeled and smashed)
  • 2 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
  • 5 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Umami Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season both sides of the steaks with kosher salt, black pepper, and umami powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet on high heat until shimmering.
  4. Cook each side of the steak for approximately 2 minutes, adjusting time based on thickness to achieve your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the steaks and place them on a plate to rest.
  6. In the same skillet, add the dairy-free butter, smashed garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  7. Reduce heat to medium and stir until the butter melts.
  8. Return the steaks to the skillet, coating them in the garlic herb butter for added flavor.

Notes

Ensure the skillet is properly heated and do not overcrowd for best results. Let steaks rest after cooking.
