Description

Delicious shrimp tacos filled with juicy shrimp, crunchy cabbage, and creamy avocado, topped with zesty lime-infused sour cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Toss shrimp with chili powder, salt, and pepper; let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Warm tortillas in another pan or microwave until soft.
  5. Assemble tacos by adding cabbage, shrimp, avocado slices, cilantro, and a drizzle of lime-infused sour cream.
  6. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider grilling the shrimp instead of cooking in a skillet.
