- 1 batch of chewy chocolate chip cookie dough
- 24 Oreos (or 1 package)
- 1 batch of fudgy brownie batter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for brownies)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Spread half of the cookie dough evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer the Oreos on top of the cookie dough.
- Prepare the brownie batter by mixing sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; then mix into the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the brownie batter over the Oreos.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the brownie layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the brownies are set but still fudgy in the middle.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
