A hearty casserole combining egg noodles, ground beef, and tangy sour cream for a comforting family meal.

- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the noodles, half of the beef mixture, and half of the sauce mixture. Repeat the layers. Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
You can prepare the casserole in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Add frozen veggies for extra nutrition.
