Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are translucent.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir to coat with the bacon drippings.
  5. Cook the cabbage, stirring occasionally, until it’s tender (about 10-15 minutes).
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and optional ingredients if desired.
  7. Stir in the reserved bacon before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the sautéed onions.
