Description

A classic appetizer that combines creamy yolk filling with fresh herbs and spices for a delightful treat at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh sage leaves for garnish
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Garnish with paprika, fresh sage, and thyme.
  5. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use older eggs for easier peeling. Chill deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving to meld flavors.
