- 3 to 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl using a fork or potato masher.
- Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the sugar until smooth.
- Crack in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Fold the dry mixture into the banana mixture until just combined.
- Add nuts if using, and fold gently.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and tap it to remove air bubbles.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 55 to 65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
